Today, safeguarding competitiveness is achieved more than ever before through continuous improvement of organisational structures and processes. To this end, more and more companies are applying the kinds of Lean Management principles and methods first developed and implemented by Toyota.

In many cases, however, transformation processes that have been initiated subsequently 'fizzle out' in day-to-day business operations once the consultants have left, and fail to generate any sustained impact.

For this reason, IIM supports its customers not only in focused development and piloting of appropriate Lean principles and methods, but also helps in the customer's step-by-step development of its own, internal Lean Transformation competencies.
